Swing booms are more prevalent than in lighter classes. Clone diesel engines (e.g., KOOP/Changchai) are common. Meaningful step up in hydraulic pressure/flow and drivetrain robustness over 10T. Used by owner-operators and small excavation businesses for daily light-commercial work. Maintenance focuses on diesel fuel systems, pilot hydraulics, pumps/valves, and final drives.
