Continuous rubber belt tracks. Lighter weight, lower ground pressure, and won't damage paved surfaces. Standard on mini excavators. May wear faster in rocky conditions.

Traditional linked steel track shoes. More durable in harsh conditions, better traction on slopes, and longer service life. Heavier and can damage finished surfaces.

Track width can be adjusted (typically hydraulically) to fit through narrow openings or widen for stability. Common feature on versatile mini excavators.
