Travel Motor Gear Oil Change
Each track has a final drive motor with separate gear oil. Regular changes prevent wear and overheating.
Tools Required:
Socket or wrench setDrain containerGear oilFunnel
Safety Notes
- • Machine may need repositioning to access plugs
General Steps:
1
Position machine so drain plug is at lowest point.
2
Clean area around drain and fill plugs.
3
Place container under drain plug.
4
Remove fill plug, then drain plug.
5
Allow complete drainage.
6
Reinstall drain plug.
7
Fill with gear oil to bottom of fill plug threads.
8
Repeat for opposite track.
