Track Removal and Installation

Worn or damaged tracks reduce traction and can damage undercarriage components. Replace when tread is worn or cracks appear.

Tools Required:

Heavy-duty jack or liftJack standsPry barGrease gunWrench set

Safety Notes

  • Use proper blocking - machine is heavy
  • Keep hands clear of track and sprocket when rotating

General Steps:

Position machine on firm, level surface.

Release all track tension using relief valve.

Block up one side of machine to lift track off ground.

Rotate track to access point and work off drive sprocket.

5

Pull track off over the idler and rollers.

6

Inspect sprocket, idler, and rollers for wear.

Position new track over idler and work onto drive sprocket.

Tension track to proper specification.

9

Lower machine and test drive forward and reverse.
