Pallet Fork Operation Guide

Pallet forks transform your excavator into a material handler for pallets, lumber, and other loads. Proper technique ensures safe lifting and transport.

Pallet fork frameFork tinesPin locks or quick coupler

Safety Notes

  • • Know machine lift capacity - do not exceed
  • • Keep load low during travel
  • • Watch for overhead obstacles

General Steps:

Connect pallet fork frame to quick coupler or bucket pins.

Adjust fork spacing to match pallet width.

Level forks using arm curl before approaching load.

Drive forks fully under pallet or load.

Tilt forks back slightly to secure load.

Load should rest against fork backrest.

Lift load and keep it low during transport.

Travel slowly - excavators have limited fork visibility.

Set down load gently with forks level.
