Lifting equipment or hoistSocket setTorque wrenchGrade 8 hardware

  • • Secure weight before releasing hoist

General Steps:

Determine appropriate counterweight for your machine class.

Locate counterweight mounting points on rear of machine.

Clean mounting surfaces and inspect for damage.

Position counterweight using lifting equipment - weights can be 200-500+ lbs.

Align mounting holes with machine brackets.

Install mounting bolts with appropriate grade hardware.

Torque bolts to specification in cross pattern.

Test machine stability with attachment at full reach.
