Bucket Pin and Bushing Replacement
Worn pins and bushings cause excessive play in the bucket, reducing digging precision. Regular inspection and replacement maintains optimal performance.

- • Support attachment securely
- • Wear safety glasses when driving pins
General Steps:
Lower bucket flat on ground and relieve hydraulic pressure.
Support arm with blocks if needed.
Remove grease fittings from pins.
Drive out old pins using appropriate drift punch.
Press or drive out worn bushings.
Install new bushings - may require press or freezing technique.
Install new pins with fresh grease.
Reinstall grease fittings and grease thoroughly.
